About

HypnoBirthing is a full antenatal programme- you don’t have to do anything else to accompany it (unless you want too)! My group HypnoBirthing classes in Solihull & Harborne provide a relaxed comfortable environment for you to learn this technique and philosophy for pregnancy, birth & beyond. If you prefer 1:1 sessions, I can also provide those in and around the West Midlands. Click here to find out more about the classes.

When you decide to use HypnoBirthing to birth your baby you will learn

  • How to release the fears and anxieties you may currently have about giving birth.
  • You will overcome previous traumatic births.
  • Your birthing companion will learn skills and tools to support you.
  • You will bond with your unborn baby.
  • HypnoBirthing lets you discover and experience the joy and magic of birth!!
  • Most importantly, you’ll learn how to put yourself back in control of your birth.

HypnoBirthing doesn’t mean you’ll be in a trance or asleep. You’ll always be aware of what is happening to you, and around you.

HypnoBirthing doesn’t require any particular belief system, or prior experience. Some of our mums (and especially their partners!) have been very sceptical at first – until they experience it for themselves. Its practical approach means there is something for everyone.

“When my wife first told me about hypno-birthing I was a little bit sceptical, but after attending the taster session I was sold on it. For as far back as I can remember, I have been unable to listen to people explain how the body works or medical procedures without feeling hot and dizzy. As such my wife was worried about me being able to attend the birth. Liz explained how birth works in a very simple and gentle way. She explained why so women have difficult births and how they work against the body rather than with it. This combined with the relaxation techniques equips both the mother and father with a tool kit to help them through the birth. Liz was more than just a hypno birthing teacher – If you had to give her a job title I would describe her as a pregnancy and birthing consultant.” Amit, Moseley
